From director Mark Waters, we get a remake to the 1999 classic “She’s All That”. “He’s All That” stars TikTok star Addison Rae, Madison Pettis, Tanner Buchanan, KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN (HUH?), Matthew Lillard, Annie Jacob, and Myra Molloy. This movie attempts to modernize the original by doing the same thing but with social media. Padgett (Addison Rae) breaks up with her boyfriend (Peyton Meyer) after she catches him cheating on her. Her friend (Madison Pettis) then makes a bet with her to take a nerd and turn him into prom king. Much like the first movie, she falls in love with him (Tanner Buchanan) along the way.
Addison Rae doesn’t have many acting gigs under her belt and, unfortunately, it shows throughout the movie. Honestly, it shows from mostly everyone in this movie. The attempt to remake the classic for today’s kids fell flat. It was mainly just an annoying movie. An annoying movie with bad music and bad acting.
