Look Ahead To This Weekend – 09/10

It’s good to know what’s new and interesting that will be coming out. I’ll try to do this weekly but I can’t make any promises. Ya girl still has a day job! This week is low on new shows and movies and you know I don’t do horror (we don’t play games around here).

So I give you “Pretty Hard Cases”! I can’t lie, I’m almost 3 weeks too late to finding out about this show. IMDb TV is doing their best to give us quality content but they just don’t get the recognition that they deserve. I know, I know, no one watches IMDb TV. I’m here to let you know that you need to. They’ve already given me the “Alex Rider” series that my child self needed long ago. They also have given us “Leverage: Redemption”, the continuation of “Leverage” series with almost all of the original cast. So take my word for it (or don’t but I know you will regret it) and give Pretty Hard Cases a chance. The trailer cracked me up within the first 20 seconds.

IMDb TV Original “Pretty Hard Cases” Poster

Pretty Hard Cases is a buddy cop series that stars Meredith MacNeill, Adrienne C. Moore, Tara Strong, Karen Robinson, Dean McDermott, Al Mukadam, Percy Hynes White, and Katie Douglas. It’s free to watch on September 10th so get into it!

Season 2 of the French series Into The Night premiered on Wednesday, September 8. The series follows a group of airplane passengers as they try to escape the sun, yes, the sun. It’s killing people, animals, and ruining the food. I know it sounds crazy and far fetched but season 1 did a great job of holding my interest. Season 2 seems to be dealing with trying to find the solution to the craziness of the sun killing people. We have the same ragtag group of people that were thrown together in season 1 and some newcomers. You can watch “Into The Night” on Netflix!
